the system makes the id3 tags / song names from whatever you type in the INITIAL metadata fill-in sheet. To update / fix those after the mp3's have been made (like in this case) you need to delete the mp3's, fill out the metadata again to make sure the latest / most up to date is on file for the show, and then tell the system to 'derive' the show.

to do this, go to the show, click 'edit item' then 'item manager' then 'checkout' .. delete all the files that are not your seed .flac / ffp / md5 files and DO NOT delete the .xml files. checkin the show, click 'edit item' and then make sure that the artist name, album, song name, track number, etc are all filled out right, click 'submit' then go to 'edit item' on the show page, and then item manager then 'derive'.

that should do it / make good titled mp3's in a few hours. let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the info, it helped a lot. I wil store this little bit of info away for the future for when I screw up.
